Our values are achieved through iterative, dynamic and quality assured processes that are authentic, inclusive and action based to ensure high standards of quality and achievement.

ECD (1-6 years), GET (7-14 years) and FET (15-17 years) schooling Adult Basic Education and Training (ABET) and Higher Education (18 – 30 years)

Goals are:

Initiation and set-up of an Early Childhood Development Forum for professional development that supports excellence in ECD practitioners and practice.

Initiation and set-up of an ECD Centre of Excellence as a training centre in each of the nine business units.

Creation of leadership role models in youth for ECD, GET, FET and HET sectors through mentoring and provision of support and advice services, events and competitions.

Initiation and set-up of an independent faith-based primary school and high school that supports the major religions in South Africa in each of the nine business units.
Identification and training of critical and scarce skills.
Implementation of active ongoing change management through all education endeavours.

Changing social perceptions actively through the implementation of change management principles in each project.

Provision and support of bursaries, learnerships, study grants, internships, apprenticeships, contracted employment
Identification, planning and coaching of individuals associated with the innovative ideas into development pathways to support initiation and setting up of their business idea.

Provision of workplace education, training and support in a variety of sectors according to identified needs and in accordance with the development of critical and scarce skills.

Provision of schooling and ABET teaching and support services.

Provision of development opportunities for human resources as representatives for communications, media, youth politics, fundraising, community support, public speaking, youth councillors, schooling and higher education learner representatives.

Creation of education, training and development opportunities for job creation and small business development.

Provision of education, training and development support and skills development in areas allied to communications, arts and culture, service, diplomacy and tourism arenas to service the business needs and community development needs.

Via Afrika Publishers produce books and educational materials for schools (all grades and subjects) and FET colleges in South Africa. Via Afrika Stimela produces materials for the adult education and training (AET) market.

Via Afrika Smile produces educational games and apparatus as well as science, mathematics and technology kits for schools in southern Africa. Via Afrika Future produces digital learning materials and textbooks. Via Afrika International manages and supports the Group's educational publishing businesses in Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia.

The value Add

There are too many young children that do not get any education in our communities. We skill and develop practitioners by sending them on training ie. First Aid, Training courses for ECD level 4, 5 and 6 qualification, Managing a small scale ECD.

Our intention is to set-up an Early Childhood Development (ECD) Centre of Excellence that will be able to benefit the children and community members in the area.

Education is important to young developing children and also to lay a stable foundation for the children. There are too many children, youth and adults that do not have any education in our communities. As a result of our research done within the community of Newlands, there are 75% of the children in the community that roam around un-attended by parents. This will give an opportunity for children to be constructive and learn while they grow and develop into our leaders of tomorrow.
